Senior Software Engineer - DevOps

About the Role:

You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Gitlab CI/CD, and Jupyter Notebooks, developing and maintaining containerized services. Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software systems that meet high performance and quality standards.
• System Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot containerized applications to ensure seamless operations.
• Customer Support: Provide top-tier support, helping CCE customers optimize their use of services.
• Collaboration: Work with system and hardware engineers to integrate software into new systems and coordinate installations.
• Technical Leadership: Lead software development teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards and software development processes.
• Innovation: Drive the development of new software solutions and services, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the CCE.

Key Technologies and Skills:

• Core Technologies: Linux CLI, Bash/Python scripting, Kubernetes, Docker/containerd, Helm Charts.
• Development Tools: Gitlab CI/CD, Jupyter Notebooks, REST APIs, Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira).
• Containerization: Expertise in containerized applications and environments.
• Customer Support: Strong experience in customer outreach and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, plus seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts.
  • OR Nine (9) years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Linux, Bash/Python scripting, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead software development teams, ensuring projects meet quality standards and are completed on time.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
