Senior Software Engineer (Frontend/UI Focus)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical company in Prague and help build intuitive, scalable, and modern user interfaces supporting advanced peptide synthesis workflows used by scientists and researchers.

This role focuses on developing highly interactive applications that allow researchers to efficiently capture, visualize, and manage complex experimental data within scientific environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for multi-step peptide synthesis workflows
  


• Enhance applications to capture reaction conditions, sequential experimental steps, and outputs
  


• Collaborate closely with scientists, backend engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into functional UI solutions
  


• Develop responsive and dynamic web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
  


• Integrate frontend components with backend services via REST APIs
  


• Ensure efficient handling and visualization of complex scientific datasets
  


• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and usability
  


• Maintain high code quality standards, testing, and version control using GitHub
  


• Support deployments and integrations within AWS-hosted environments​
  

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  


• Hands-on experience with Angular and/or AngularJS
  


• Experience with Vue.js
  


• Familiarity with Angular Material
  


• Strong experience integrating REST APIs
  


• Good understanding of SQL and backend data flow
  


• Experience working within AWS environments
  


• Proficiency with GitHub
  


• Strong understanding of responsive UI/UX design principles
  


• Experience building scalable enterprise applications
  

Nice to Have

• Experience within scientific, pharmaceutical, or laboratory environments
  


• Knowledge of experimental workflow systems or cheminformatics applications
  


• Familiarity with Docker and cloud-native development
