Job Description - Senior Software Engineer, Global Revenue Informatics
As the first Software Engineer on our Global Revenue Informatics team, you will own the design and build of the applications and infrastructure that enables our team to deliver on its mission: to build scalable solutions that help our global sales team run better, faster, and smarter. In doing so, you will tackle a wide variety of challenges, processes, and data that makes the engine of this Sales organization hum.
What You’ll Do
Create impactful tools : create tools core to our sales prospecting machine, leveraging the latest technologies in LLMs, cloud compute, and cloud storage to give our sales team an edge in the market
Build scalable infrastructure : build reliable, efficient, and scalable infrastructure for storage, computation, and delivery from a variety of sources and systems
Improve data quality : constantly iterate on ways to improve the quality of our data, including but not limited to:
Building automated tools to monitor, validate, and scrub our existing data
Ensuring consistency across systems
Suppressing and/or mitigating duplicate records
Evaluating and acquiring new data worldwide
Mapping complex real world organizational structures such as conglomerates and multinational corporations in our systems
Establish engineering standards : lead and grow junior engineers; establish software engineering best practices and standardize them across the team
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
3+ years of professional experience related to data platforms and infrastructure
Expertise in cloud storage & compute, distributed systems, and data pipelines
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
Experience with Python and AWS (EC2, RDS, etc.); working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Passion for impact, a bias towards scrappiness, and an ability to ship high quality products
