Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript, M365 Classification Tools) - Fully Cleared

At Intelliforce, software drives mission assurance. As a Senior Software Engineer supporting TTO 3 – Endpoint Services, you will help lead the design and implementation of tools that support secure classification marking and data validation within M365 web-based applications. You’ll collaborate with a high-performing team to design, test, and deliver policy-driven software solutions that enhance access control across multiple secure environments. You will also mentor junior developers, influence best practices, and help shape the next generation of mission-critical applications.

Schedule and Work Details

• Location: Government or Contractor Facility, Ft. Meade, MD area

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, normal day shift

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

• Design, develop, test, and document classification and access control software across multiple fabrics

• Extend and customize tools for classification string validation and comparison supporting M365 applications

• Lead by example in code reviews, guiding developers toward consistent and maintainable solutions

• Analyze system requirements and architecture to produce well-defined specifications

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to refine requirements and resolve issues

• Develop and expand automated unit and end-to-end tests

• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve technical issues with complex systems

• Ensure adherence to secure software development practices

• Provide Tier 3 customer support and technical escalation as needed

• Mentor junior developers and encourage adherence to best practices across the lifecycle

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline plus eight (8) years of software engineering experience

• OR twelve (12) years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree

• At least three (3) years of experience in SIGINT, IA, or IT domains

Required Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Git-based development workflows

• Experience participating in and leading structured code reviews

• Strong ability to analyze system requirements and architecture documentation

• Understanding of software design principles, testing, and lifecycle documentation

• Effective troubleshooting and debugging skills

• Ability to collaborate in a multi-contractor, multi-discipline environment

Desired Skills

• Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers

• Proven ability to promote and enforce software development best practices

• Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks

• Experience triaging and resolving user issues in live environments

• Knowledge of secure application development and policy enforcement

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

• Experience using JIRA, GitLab, or similar collaboration tools

Compensation Range: $179,000.00 - $236,000.00 
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
