We're currently looking for a Senior-level Software Test Engineer who will be responsible for testing battery management systems in compliance with DO-178 and DO-330.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be responsible for software verification of an embedded application in a battery management system, including bootloader
Be an active participant in software document reviews for correctness and testability
Develop tool qualification plans as assigned
Perform requirements based testing which includes; test strategy, test methodologies, test cases, and test procedures
Writing, reviewing, executing, and recording results for test cases against software requirements
Provide test automation capability where appropriate
What You Need for this Position
Embedded Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as MP-LAB, Keil, CCS
DO-178C Level A Software Verification
Structural Coverage Tools (Rapita or VectorCAST)
DO-330 Tool Qualification
Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment
Test Management tools (such as Codebeamer)
GIT version control tools (GitLab)
Experience with Problem Report (defect tracking) tools
C programming language knowledge for automated testing
Terminal Emulator tools (such as TeraTerm)
Bonus Skills
Desktop programming language knowledge (C#, Winforms, WPF)
Microchip PIC32MX Experience - (experience with Microchip MPLAB X IDE/IPE)
MIL-STD-1553 knowledge
CAN Bus knowledge
CAN Data Logging Software experience - (such as PCAN Explorer)
Static analysis (such as MathWorks Polyspace Bug Finder, Axivion)
Requirements management (such as Codebeamer, DOORS)
