About the Job:
Collaborate with directors and C-Suite level to achieve fundraising targets for programs, individual giving campaigns, the annual meeting, and the membership program.
Develop and implement donor cultivation and stewardship strategies to enhance engagement across the organization.
Partner with the Director to expand event sponsorships and cultivate sponsors.
Work with the Director to increase unrestricted contributions and revise the membership program benefits.
Maintain and enhance the database/content management system in collaboration with the department and IT.
Generate corporate and individual giving reports and ensure accurate records in coordination with the finance department.
About You:
5+ years of relevant experience in grants, fundraising, or development is required, preferably in higher education.
A bachelor's degree with equivalent experience is required; A master's degree is preferred.
Experience in contributing to sponsorship strategies and planning for conferences or large-scale events.
A solid understanding of corporate giving and CSR practices.
Entrepreneurial with an innovative mindset, ability to multi-task, experience working with diverse audiences, and a collaborative working style.
About the Position:
$33/hr-$37/hr while temporary
$75K-$80K when permanent
Hybrid with 2 days/week onsite.
Metro accessible in Washington, DC.
