Senior SQL DBA

Description:

As a SQL Server DBA, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our SQL Server databases.

Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases, including schemas, tables, indexes, and views.

Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization.

Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Monitor database systems to ensure availability, reliability, and performance meet or exceed SLAs.

Perform regular database backups and disaster recovery planning and testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, database corruption, and connectivity problems.

Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database solutions for new applications and features.

Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and scalability of our database infrastructure.

9 Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration and recommend changes to policies and procedures as needed.
