We have an exciting opportunity for an professional Senior Staff Accountant to join our Kontron Family! This person will be supporting the following: 

• General Ledger Accounting (journal entries, month-end financial close, account reconciliations, inter-company confirmations, research & analysis, etc.) 
• Supports financial and internal audits, assists with tax requirements, and performs accounting administrative duties.  
• Supports financial analysis, cost accounting & controlling, budgets and forecasts, and other analytic and reporting needs.
• Helps/backs-up other functional areas as needed 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Performs tasks related to general ledger accounting (journal entries, support schedules, account analyses, postings, reconciliations, research and problem solving, fixed assets, etc.)
• Supports reviews and analyses of actual P&L performance against plan and forecasts future reporting periods. 
• Meets deadlines. Responds promptly to requests from supervisor, and senior management.
• Supports internal control standards, policies, and procedures.
• Reviews and updates documented processes and procedures.
• Performs other accounting and administrative functions and tasks as needed/assigned. 
• Aids in special projects as required. 

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree - with emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus
• 2+ years progressive Accounting and/or Finance experience. 
• MS applications (Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams) proficient. 
• Experience in, and/or willing to work in, a fast paced, cross-functional team. 
• Multi-company and/or manufacturing experience a plus.
• ·Solid communication and human interaction skills.
• Detail oriented. Problem solver.
• SAP experience a plus
