Senior Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Staff Accountant at a global asset management co. located in Downtown Boston, MA, 02110. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant accounting and month-end experience.

This is a 6+ month temporary role (40 hours per week) with an opportunity for extension and/or permanent placement.

Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $ 45.00 (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

On-site 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Post daily cash activity
Reconcile Accounts Payable
Reconcile Bank Statements
Capital account transactions-Fixed assets & depreciation
Wire payment transactions
Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments
Reconcile General Ledger Accounts
Assist in month-end close responsibilities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
3+ years’ experience in general accounting and month end responsibilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience with Tableau and Microsoft Access is highly preferred
Ability to multi-task
Strong sense of urgency
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
