Senior Staff Accountant - Dynamic Team

About the Role: 
The Senior/Staff Accountant will report to the accounting manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Botkeeper, Inc. as well as assist with the month end close and annual audit. 

Responsibilities: 

• Revenue reconciliation
• Review vendor invoices
• Review expense reimbursements
• Review and reconcile physical corp card
• Manage virtual corp card
• Manage accruals, prepaids and fixed assets
• Post various month end entries, complete reconciliations and update schedules
• Assist with investor reporting
• Assist with state compliance reporting and filing (including sales & use tax)
• Process improvement and documentation
• Ad Hoc finance related projects
  • File cleanup
  • GL account cleanup
  • Assistance with software integrations
• COGS allocation

Desired Experience: 

• 3-5 years of related experience
• Degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online required
• ASC606 experience strongly preferred
• Good communication skills required as you’ll be working with various dept heads and others through the company
