Senior Staff Nurse

Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated Senior Staff RN to work with us a in Pinellas and Hillsborough county supporting our PRN team. This role requires flexibility (weekend requirement) and day shift.

What you'll Do: 

The Senior Staff Nurse provides support to nursing staff members and provides leadership regarding coordination and oversight of staffing levels and skill mix for PRN,  Crisis Care, Evening Weekend, and Triage functions to ensure optimum patient care in collaboration with and support of the Care Team Manager, including Organizational Initiatives, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assessments, Performance Improvements, Team Meetings and other activities as appropriate.

What You'll Need:

• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Continuing education: As required for licensure.


• Certifications: Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
