Senior Staff Scientist Veterinary Pathologist

BD is seeking onsite full-time, experienced, board-certified veterinary pathologist to join our growing team. The position is oriented toward preclinical functionality support but will also support internal or external GLP and non-GLP studies. **Job Overview:**

?This role will be responsible to support anatomic pathology evaluation, including microscopic tissue assessment, for GLP and non-GLP studies. This position will serve as Study Pathologist with interpretation and writing pathology reports in accordance with approved protocol requirements. Training of prosector skills, team development and strong communication will be necessary.

**Qualifications**

+ DVM/VMD degree and ACVP (Anatomic Pathology) board certification required.

+ Additional PhD or MS encouraged but not required.

+ Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a board-certified veterinary pathologist in a GLP research environment required.

+ 10+ years of work experience and medical device experience preferred
