Senior Strategist

Wild Fruit is a presentations agency focusing on the company founders and the capital funds that populate this place. We were born out of Red Antler, a globally recognized expert in startup brand-building, and we work closely together. Our task is to bring our clients’ ideas to life on the digital page when it matters most: raising capital, pitching for new business, and presenting at conferences. Beyond presentations, we also take on brand identity and web work when our clients need the support—and execute everything with the same care and commitment.

Mostly, we’re humble verbal and visual practitioners. We learn, tinker, and execute in the medium we know best to bring clients’ ideas to life on each page. We strive for our next project to be better than the last. We want our clients to feel as smart as they really are (maybe even smarter) when they present our work to the world. We’re seeking a dynamic Strategist to join our team and be responsible for crafting compelling pitch presentations for firms aiming to secure investments, sales, or partnerships. The ideal candidate will be insatiably curious, a patient listener, and an organized explainer of sometimes many-parted and complex things. A big plus for candidates who understand how startups work and the investment landscape that keeps them humming.

You, the candidate:

• You have 8-10 years of experience as a strategist, consultant, or analyst within an agency, consultancy, or investment firm setting.
• You have prior experience drafting (and presenting) concise, punchy slides summarizing complex situations or concepts into something more coherent, easily grasped, and exciting (you adore a good headline or a good turn of phrase).
• You can effectively listen to and collaborate with clients to fully understand their situation, including their vision, customers, product, business model, market opportunity, funding objective, etc.
• You can translate your work for designers to ensure they effectively bring your content to life (you won’t hear anyone at Wild Fruit say, “I’m not the creative type”).
• You enjoy staying updated with world events, business trends, and startup industry developments and can translate this into your work.
