Senior Superintendent

An ENR Top 100 General Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large, complex commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for the overall execution of projects from mobilization through turnover, ensuring exceptional safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction while developing and mentoring field teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.


• Manage project safety with an unwavering commitment to an injury-free jobsite.


• Develop and maintain project logistics plans, CPM schedules, and short-term look-ahead schedules.


• Direct field personnel, assistant superintendents, trade partners, and self-perform work.


• Coordinate inspections, QA/QC programs, commissioning activities, and project closeout.


• Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field changes.


• Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and schedule performance.


• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings, owner meetings, safety meetings, and pre-installation meetings.


• Partner with Project Managers to ensure successful project execution.


• Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and future field leaders.

Minimum Requirements

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience.


• Proven experience serving as the lead Superintendent on large, complex commercial projects.


• Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.


• Experience managing multiple assistant superintendents and large field teams.
