Apply Today! \n\nWhere You Will Work \n\nOur rod and refining plant in El Paso, Texas, is a key contributor to our ranking as one of the world\u2019s largest manufacturers of continuous cast copper rod \u2013 a main material used in the manufacturing of wire and cable products. The refinery has the potential to operate at an annual production capacity of about 900 million pounds of copper cathode, which is sufficient to refine all the copper anode we produce at our Miami operations in Arizona. The refinery also produces nickel carbonate, copper telluride and autoclaved slimes material containing gold, silver, platinum and palladium. \n\nThe beautiful city of El Paso features three universities, many community colleges and numerous schools. There are many shopping centers, parks, hiking trails and numerous restaurants for our employees and their families to enjoy. \n\n## What You Will Do\n\nUnder general supervision, supervises, coordinates and controls the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit through subordinate supervisors. \n\n \n\n * Ensures continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedules\n * Provides operations input for production and maintenance planning\n * Ensures adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations\n * Inspects assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained\n * Coordinates daily with other operational and staff areas including, but not limited to: maintenance, processing, engineering, safety, environmental, and sales\n * Directly supervises first-line or shift supervisors\n * Performs other duties as required\n\n\n\n## What You Bring To Freeport\n\n * High School diploma or GED and nine (9) years professional experience in accounting, including two (2) years in prolong intellectual instruction (certifications, instructed training, OR on the job training, etc..) in Accounting or Finance; OR\n\n\n * Associate\u0027s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and seven (7) years professional experience in accounting; OR\n\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related area, AND five (5) years of related Accounting experience, including supervisory or lead experience; OR\n\n\n * Master\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related area, AND three (3) years of related Accounting experience, including supervisory or lead experience\n * Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques\n\n * Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods and procedures needed to complete projects\n\n * Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration\n\n * Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions\n\n * Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards\n\n * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing\n\n\n\n\n## Preferred Qualifications\n\n * Previous supervision / mentoring experience\n * SAP experience\n\n\n\nWhat We Offer You\n\nThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87,500-$120,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
