Senior Survey Data Technician

Job Summary: 

• Use AutoCAD to process field data and draft plats and exhibits of boundary, ALTA, topographic surveys, as-built surveys. 

• Prepare drawings, forms, maps, and lists based on approved details provided by field crew and designers / engineers 

Requirements: 

• 2 - 5 years drafting experience or education equivalent 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and legal descriptions drafting 

• Reading and understanding maps, plat maps, as-builts, construction drawings  

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D 

• Experience with construction layout calculations is a plus. 

• Experience with boundary survey calculations is a plus. 

• Experience with ALTA title commitments is a plus. 

Qualifications: 

• Applicants will have a basic understanding of survey procedures and data collection and a level of knowledge to work independently. 

• Ability to work on multiple projects using raw field data and computer data. 

• Ability to apply land surveying methodologies, formulas, principles, and techniques to solve surveying related problems. 

• Ability to review their own work for accuracy and completeness and the initiative to recommend solutions or improvements as appropriate. 

• Customer service and team oriented. 

• Should
  demonstrate they are a self-starter, organized, attentive to detail, and able to work under stress to meet deadlines.
