Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Survey Manager to lead field crews and office teams on civil and transportation projects. This senior-level role combines project delivery, client development, and staff leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise multiple field crews and office technicians on daily survey operations.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, QA/QC, and client expectations.
• Coordinate with VDOT and local municipalities on roadway and utility corridor surveys.
• Support regional business growth through proposals and client relationship development.
• Mentor and coach staff through performance reviews and one-on-one sessions.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
• 12+ years of surveying experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• Extensive DOT and municipal project experience.
• Proficient in Bentley MicroStation / OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and CAD-based survey workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local survey regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's in surveying or civil tech preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Subsurface utility locating/designating experience.
• LiDAR, aerial mapping, or sUAS operations.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
