Senior System Manager HPC

Deliver high‑quality Linux compute support for engineering design teams Provide technical direction and escalation for technologies in the Linux compute space Automate system builds, configuration management, and operational tasks Provision physical and virtual systems and maintain hardware as needed Monitor and improve the overall health, performance, and reliability of Unix/Linux environments 3-5 years managing enterprise RedHat Linux environments (RHEL 8/9 preferred) Strong scripting ability in Shell, Python, or similar languages Experience with LDAP and VMware virtualization Hands‑on hardware maintenance experience and ability to lift 50 lbs Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience Experience with cloud‑hosted Linux servers Knowledge of Kickstart and configuration management tools (Puppet preferred) Experience with FlexLm license management or revision control systems Advanced troubleshooting skills and a strong focus on continuous improvement Project management experience
