Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Client: DISA

Clearance: Active Secret clearance or higher Clearance required

Role Description:  

The candidate will help drive solutions and management architecture in support of Tier III

Will work in the DISA lab to provide feedback on current solutions, keep current on vendor products, and help drive future architectures

Document and brief system architecture and changes

Will require occasional on-call duty (weekends and after hours)

Required Experience/Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems

Min 3 years of Windows Server system administration, management, and support experience within an MS Active Directory environment.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

• Experience with network and security management tools (such as IBM Netcool, HP IMC, ArcSight, or Splunk) is a plus
• Working experience with network security products (Firewalls, IDSs, SIEMs) a plus
• Ability to learn Veeam Backup tools and/or experience with Veeam
• Windows Sys Admin and Active Directory training and experience
• Ability to learn GitLab, SCP, and TFTP tools (and manage them) and/or experience using these tools
• Good understanding of networking concepts
• Good system documentation skills and customer service skills
• Minimally requires an active Secret clearance
