Job Description - Senior Systems Engineer - Naval Radars
Maximum Technology is an innovative technology small business with our Corporate Headquarters located in Huntsville, AL. Our focus is on providing our Department of Defense (DoD) customers with efficient, cost-effective, innovative solutions in the areas of data management, software engineering, system engineering, test and evaluation support, information technology, and information system security. We also provide administration support, event planning and management services to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
We are seeking Systems Engineers to support our customer's Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities Team in important Naval Radar programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Support Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in one or more of the following: systems hardware, systems integration, or systems test.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working in one or more of the following: an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration or verification.
Experience with RADAR or Radio Frequency (RF) systems
Experience with military systems
Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages.
