The Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the talent acquisition function across the recruiting lifecycle, from requisition and interview coordination through offer processing, pre-employment activities, hiring, and onboarding. This role serves as a key operational resource for the Talent Acquisition team by maintaining accurate recruiting systems and data, coordinating candidate and stakeholder communications, supporting reporting and compliance activities, and helping improve recruiting processes. The individual will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment that requires sound judgment, adaptability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to the candidate and hiring manager experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Represent FirstKey Homes professionally and support a consistent, high-quality candidate and hiring-manager experience.
Coordinate recruiting activities across the hiring lifecycle, including requisition support, sourcing, interviews, offers, pre-employment activities, hiring, and onboarding.
Maintain accurate and timely candidate, requisition, offer, and hiring information within the applicant tracking system and related recruiting tools.
Support the administration and ongoing improvement of recruiting systems, workflows, templates, and team resources.
Coordinate pre-employment screening and employment eligibility activities in accordance with established company processes, escalating exceptions as appropriate.
Partner with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, Human Resources, Payroll, Information Technology, external vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and keep hiring activities moving forward.
Prepare, maintain, and distribute recurring talent acquisition reports, trackers, and operational updates while supporting data accuracy and reconciliation.
Develop and maintain recruiting process documentation, checklists, training materials, and other team resources.
Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, compliance, and the candidate experience.
Maintain recruiting records and confidential information in accordance with applicable company requirements.
Provide general operational and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team based on business needs and priorities.
Support talent acquisition programs, recruiting events, educational partnerships, and community outreach initiatives through planning, coordination, communication, and administrative support.

WORKING CONDITIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three years of experience in talent acquisition coordination, recruiting operations, Human Resources, staffing, or a related function
Experience supporting recruiting activities such as interview coordination, offer processing, applicant tracking system administration, pre-employment activities, or onboarding
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and meet time-sensitive deadlines
Proven ability to handle confidential candidate and employee information
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Experience with UKG Recruiting, UKG Pro, or a comparable applicant tracking or human capital management system
Experience supporting high-volume or multi-location recruiting
Experience with recruiting reporting, data validation, process documentation, or system implementation and enhancement activities
Working knowledge of recruiting, pre-employment screening, onboarding, and employment eligibility processes
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or changing environment
