Job Description - Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Join our client’s team as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, where you’ll oversee the full spectrum of the employee journey, from recruitment and hiring to development and engagement. Your role will encompass event planning, communication content creation, and streamlined people service administration, ensuring organizational efficiency and excellence.
This role is a hybrid model in Vancouver, Washington.
Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment process, including creating plans, writing job descriptions, posting positions, and sourcing candidates.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements and goals, representing the company at Job Fairs and other recruitment sources.
Build relationships with professional associations, universities, and other sources for talent pipelines.
Review and approve requisitions for open positions, review applications, conduct preliminary interviews, and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
Prepare and send offer letters, perform background and reference checks, handle onboarding processes, and produce reports on recruiting activities.
Maintain interview and hiring records, while also maintaining and updating functionality of FPF External and Internal Career platforms.
Provide guidance to internal employees on career pathing and skill development, answering employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and hiring processes.
Coordinate training sessions, assist with performance management procedures, and support engagement and communication efforts by planning and executing annual events, creating and distributing employee newsletters, and maintaining and updating Social Media platforms with relevant content.
Serve as backup to Payroll/HR coordinator with ADP, payroll, system changes, and verifications, while also performing other assigned duties.
Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications
4-5 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment.
Preference for 1-3 years of related experience, with at least one year in human resources highly desired.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
High attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changes.
2+ years of experience in an administrative or office management role.
Preferred:
Experience with automated HR/payroll software programs preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous.
