Location: This is a full-time, in-office opportunity in New York City, with five days per week in the office. Limited seasonal flexibility may be offered in the future, but candidates should apply expecting an on-site role.
Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of public accounting tax experience within a CPA firm, be a CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA), and have hands-on experience preparing C Corporation Form 1120 returns and reviewing tax returns.

Job Description
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns.
- Prepare C Corporation tax returns, including Form 1120.
- Review tax returns prepared by other team members for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze income tax provision calculations.
- Research federal, state, and local tax issues and regulations.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and assist with tax strategies.
- Calculate tax liabilities, deferred tax assets, and related tax accounts.
- Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Reconcile tax accounts and maintain accurate tax-related financial information.
- Collaborate closely with managers, partners, clients, and other accounting professionals.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience within a CPA firm.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) required.
- Strong tax return preparation experience.
- Experience preparing C Corporation Form 1120 returns.
- Experience reviewing tax returns.
- Familiarity with tax provision calculations.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax requirements.
- Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- ProSystem experience preferred.
