Are you an experienced (3+ years) business tax professional looking for a new challenge? You'll be able to use your talents to the fullest at our stable but growing company, with operations in multiple states and Latin America.

A Senior Tax Associate will prepare, review, and analyze US income tax provision calculations and documentation, perform tax research, and maintain quarterly tax adjustments, tax basis, and deferred tax assets/liabilities for assigned partnerships, corporations and trusts. The Senior Tax Associate will provide a full-service approach to tax planning and federal/state tax compliance and use their knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting to maintain, develop and enhance automated solutions by working closely with various finance and accounting departments. 

What You'll Do 

• Prepare and review US income tax provision and projections, and ensure documentation is properly maintained.
• Work with outside accounting firms on the preparation of federal and state estimates, extensions and returns for partnership, corporations, and trusts.
• Communicate and present information effectively, using concise summaries and recommendations.
• Review tax returns from outside tax preparers.
• Research and document tax issues, as required.
• Assist in resolving open notices with tax authorities.

• 3+ years of experience in partnership and corporation income tax provision and/or return preparation and review working as a dedicated tax professional.
• Knowledge in ASC740 accounting for income taxes, statutory accounting and transfer pricing.
• Experience with using tax research software such as CCH Answerconnect. 
• Private company tax experience is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly desirable. 
• Must maintain clean background screening, drug screening, and driving record. 
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
