Senior Tax Manager

Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior Tax Manager to join a growing public accounting firm operating in a hybrid work environment. This role requires a hands-on tax professional who can prepare and review tax returns, manage workflows, and oversee remote staff while maintaining high-quality standards and deadlines.

This is an urgent need for an experienced tax leader who is confident with numbers, technology, and team collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Manage and review work prepared by remote accounting staff
• Oversee tax workflows and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
• Utilize Accounting CS, UltraTax, Canopy, and other Thomson Reuters tools
• Collaborate closely with ownership and internal teams in a hybrid office environment
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
• Assist with process improvement and workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in tax preparation and review
• Strong proficiency with Accounting CS, UltraTax, Canopy, or similar tax software
• Experience reviewing work prepared by remote or offshore teams
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
• Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset
