Senior Tax Manager

Must have Public Accounting Experience

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Manager to join our team. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting. This is a key leadership role within our organization, requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
- Conduct research on tax issues and provide guidance to internal stakeholders
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for tax savings or process improvements
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures for tax purposes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions
- Provide training and mentorship to junior tax professionals

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax planning and compliance
- Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and financial concepts

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Strong understanding of mergers, acquisitions, and financial auditing processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
