Senior Technical Designer

This position will be responsible for executing fit comments and technical spec packages for the
assigned product category.  Assist to generate specification packages and maintains/tracks
them through fit approval with factory partners.  This position will report to the Director of
Production.

Job Responsibilities: 
 Review, Measure, and evaluate Fit samples from Proto stage to Production TOPs.
 Responsible for conducting the fittings daily for assigned product categories and
processing the fit comments accordingly
 Prepare for fittings by measuring and inspecting fit samples
 Create and develop specification specs & fit standards within brand and categories
 Work closely with Design and Production teams during fittings and responsible for the
recording the fit comments
 Assist Tech team in the fitting and take detail photo and notes.
 Approve fit and construction of garments within development and production timelines.
 Review garments for quality issues
 Communicate fit comments via E-mail with the overseas vendors
 Own communication of development and fit information to overseas vendors through
written reports, sketches and/or pattern corrections.
 Partner with Technical Designer to understand and provide technical support to
overseas key members in helping improve fit and providing clear and concise comments
within internal Excel and PLM Software.
 Ensure seasonal deadlines are met for assigned categories
 Enter development sample measurements into Excel T/P and PLM.
 Help to track samples received and approvals with following corporate calendar.
 Assist in developing and created Technical Packages to share with team members with
accuracy.

Qualifications
 5-10 years in fit experience with working knowledge of pattern corrections and fashion
garment
 Garment construction, pattern making, sewing and spec knowledge needed
 Strong verbal and written communication skills
 Detail oriented, with strong organizational capabilities
 Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented and collaborative environment
 Work accurately and in an organized manner
 Ability to build collaborative relationships across individual & divisions
 Strong Computer knowledge (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft office)
 Mandarin Speaking preferred
