Senior Technical Training Engineer - Onshape

Ideal candidates are well-spoken and have experience creating engaging training material. This includes creating CAD models, documentation, and video production, as well as creating and executing live and recorded product training. This role requires working knowledge in mechanical engineering and engineering applications (CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM, FEA, etc.) and the ability to convey our product differentiators effectively.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\n * Become an Onshape product expert and trusted advisor.\n * Create realistic, detailed CAD models for training purposes.\n * Create and execute live and recorded product training.\n * Continuously develop new skills and learn new features and product offerings.\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Experience with engineering software such as CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM, FEA, etc.\n * Experience providing software product training.\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n * Video creation experience with Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or similar software.\n * Experience with Thought Industries or a similar Learning Management System is ideal but not required.\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience\n * Minimum 3-5 years working in an engineering role or role working for an engineering software company\n\n\n\n \n\n\nPTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $113,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate\u0027s skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
