# Position Summary\n\nThe Trade Analyst plays a critical role in advancing the effectiveness, scalability, and maturity of the company\u2019s global trade operations. This role is responsible for transforming trade data into insight, designing and supporting automation and system-driven solutions, and enabling compliant, efficient execution across Imports, Exports, and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations.\n\nThis individual is a strong analytical thinker and visionary problem solver who can ingest large, complex data sets, create meaningful metrics, track progress against commitments, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams. The role partners closely with cross functional teams and external service providers to ensure trade operations are data-driven, automated where possible, and in compliance with government regulations.\n\n# \n\n# Trade Analytics \u0026 Insights\n\n * Analyze large volumes of data across imports, exports, and FTZ activity to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.\n * Design and maintain trade performance metrics and dashboards, including compliance KPIs, operational efficiency metrics, exception trends, and savings realization.\n * Track execution against action items, commitments, and remediation plans; provide transparent reporting and follow-up to ensure accountability.\n * Develop executive-level summaries that translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.\n\n\n\n# \n\n# Automation, Systems \u0026 Digital Enablement\n\n * Support the design, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions across trade operations processes.\n * Partner with IT and system owners to translate trade requirements into system logic, validations, and reporting capabilities (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, FTZ software, broker interfaces).\n * Participate in system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades, including requirements definition, UAT testing, and post-deployment validation.\n * Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and strengthen controls through automation and system integration.\n\n\n\n# \n\n# Import, Export \u0026 FTZ Operational Support\n\n * Support compliant execution of import, export, and FTZ operations through data validation, exception management, and transaction monitoring.\n * Perform analytical reviews of FTZ admissions, inventory movements, manufacturing consumption, and removals to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.\n * Support reconciliations between a variety systems and broker data; identify root causes and corrective actions.\n\n\n\n# \n\n# Governance, Controls \u0026 Continuous Improvement\n\n * Support development and maintenance of SOPs, process flows, control documentation, and metrics frameworks.\n * Contribute to audit readiness by supporting internal testing, documentation gathering, and data analysis for audits and CBP reviews.\n * Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying systemic issues and proposing scalable, data-backed solutions.\n * Act as a thought partner to Trade leadership by bringing forward-looking ideas on automation, analytics, and operational design.\n\n\n\n# \n\n# Core Skills \u0026 Competencies\n\n * Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to data integrity\n * Proven ability to track progress, manage action items, and hold stakeholders accountable\n * Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across functions\n * Strong systems, automation, and process design mindset\n * Visionary, proactive, and improvement-oriented approach\n\n\n\n# \n\n# Required Qualifications\n\nBachelor\u2019s degree required\n\n4\u20138 years of experience in global trade, trade compliance, or operations analytics\n\nDemonstrated experience working with large data sets and developing metrics or dashboards\n\nHands-on experience supporting import/export operations and/or FTZ programs\n\nExperience with ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA preferred)\n\nAdvanced excel skills\n\nExperience with Tableau, PowerBI, AI tools desired\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n2 - 4 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nNone\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$78,000.00 - $107,500.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
