Visit Globe-Miami.com to learn more.\n\n## Description\n\nThe goal of the Reliability Centered Maintenance Group is to achieve higher equipment availability and lower maintenance costs through predictive maintenance technologies. This goal is realized by regularly scheduled monitoring of equipment with predictive technologies and coordinating the necessary maintenance through teamwork with other maintenance and operations personnel, including but not limited to supervision, planning, engineering, and field personnel.\n\n \n\nThis position requires travel to other facilities and interaction with vendors, contractors and company personnel; any and all business must be conducted in a professional manner as a representative of Freeport-McMoRan. This position requires a responsible, self-motivated person who is able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. This position requires working in confined spaces and tight corridors, as well as, working closely around moving, rotating, electrically energized, and elevated equipment in a safe and efficient manner. \n\n \n\n * The RCM Technicians monitor equipment ranging from the SX/EW, Powerhouse, the Water System, IPCC, Mine (Shovels, Drills, Haulage) to outlying areas\n * Perform vibration data collection utilizing current technology (CSI)\n * Utilization of the current software to load, dump, and analyze vibration route data, as well as, build and update the associated databases (AP sets, alarm sets, etc.)\n * Report building/giving presentations utilizing various software programs, daily planning, including but not limited to MSTs and work orders utilizing the current CMMS\n * Data collection, analysis and reporting utilizing\n * Learn various RCM/PdM technologies, primarily ultrasonic analysis and the associated software with future development into additional technologies\n * Support the RCM Program and its continual development; educate other personnel in any area of the RCM Program\n * Communicate effectively to provide, receive, and implement constructive feedback to support the mentoring program\n * Actively participate with Maintenance and Planning groups\n * Perform additional duties as required\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n \n\n * Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on mechanical maintenance repair/rebuild experience with industrial equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, pulleys, etc.) that includes:\n * Working knowledge and understanding of moving and rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes and conveyors, from an operations and maintenance perspective, mechanically and electrically\n * A working knowledge and understanding of basic prints and ability to read them\n * Journeyman level ability to read, understand and apply information from technical manuals and other reference materials\n * Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.\n * Ability to work in a team with a high regard for safety and environmental concerns and with a strong commitment to policies\n * Effective written, verbal, and communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company\n * Demonstrated computer skills in Windows environment with experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook\n * Possess Level I certification or obtain within one (1) year of hire date\n * Valid state driver\u0027s license\n * Satisfactory performance record (internal applicant)\n\n\n\n \n\nPreferred \n\n \n\n * High School diploma or GED\n * Minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on mechanical maintenance repair/rebuild experience with industrial equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, pulleys, etc.) that includes:\n * A working knowledge and understanding of moving and rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes and conveyors, from an operations and maintenance perspective, electrically and mechanically\n * A working knowledge and understanding of basic prints and ability to read them\n * Journeyman level ability to read, understand and apply information from technical manuals and other referenced materials\n * Vibration experience or Certification\n * Familiar with RBMWare (AMS-CSI) Software\n * Experience in utilizing and maintaining Emerson/CSI online vibration monitoring system\n * Experience with RCFA\n\n\n\nWhat We Offer You \n\nThe estimated pay range for this role is currently $36.00 - $48.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
