About the job

We're looking for great relationship managers to partner with our chief legal officer clients: learning their issues, advising them on their outside counsel strategies, and connecting them with top lawyers.

Role

You will be responsible for designing and implementing key business processes to facilitate the overall business objectives of our team, including:

Strategy:

Integral to developing strategies to continue our growth in our core model and expand AdvanceLaw to new audiences.

Enfranchisement:

Play a key role in enfranchising our GC clients, interacting with key legal executives on a regular basis to diagnose key areas of need and alignment of AdvanceLaw services.

Key Client Engagements:

Responsible for designing and executing key engagements with our in-house teams – these initiatives include developing strategic/preferred panels, diversity initiatives, and law firm performance management systems.

Ideal Background

This isn't a legal practice role, but the ideal candidate should be familiar with the legal industry, have a great client service ethos, and be smart, energetic, and organized. Ideal candidates include:

Lawyers (6 years out) who enjoy client relations more than legal practice (and want to transform the profession)

Relationship managers within the legal industry, including law firm client relations and marketing team members

Experience in management consulting, business strategy, or legal industry required.

Team leader, team player and positive attitude in a results-driven environment. Understands the role that culture and building strong teams plays in company success.

JD, MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, or Technology strongly preferred.
