About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Risk Management with a strong background in financial risk analysis and modeling, particularly in the areas of digital currencies and power portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, controls, and measures to monitor and mitigate asset exposure risks. This role involves overseeing the structure and execution of hedge strategies, as well as providing thought leadership in the research and development of emerging issues related to commodity risk management. The SVP will also be expected to foster a collaborative team culture, demonstrate exceptional people management skills, and maintain open, professional communication across the organization.Applicants for the SVP of Risk Management position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management and front/middle office roles, including experience in digital asset markets, is required. The role demands a candidate with strong technical knowledge of market risk methodologies, the ability to conceptualize and drive strategic direction, and a proven track record in structuring/trading or treasury financial risk management. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with executive leadership and stakeholders.
