About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice Provost and Dean. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading a dynamic and transformative research university, fostering the development and scaling of ideas that enhance the role of designers and artists in society and culture, and increasing the capacity of artists and designers to effect change in their communities. The Institute, known for its creativity and innovation, offers a wide range of disciplines and is home to exceptional facilities and leading-edge research centers across multiple campuses. The new SVP/Dean will be responsible for articulating the strategic value of the Institute and shaping its vision for the future.Candidates for this role must have a strong record of scholarly achievement in research and/or practice, equivalent to the qualifications for a tenured full professor at the university. The position requires a leader who can connect art and design with other sectors and disciplines, driving innovation in the technologies of human expression. The SVP/Dean will have the opportunity to build on the Institute's reputation as a cultural anchor, and to advance a diverse student body while shaping the next chapter of the Institute's evolution.
