About the Role:

In this senior-level role, you will oversee planning, design, and management of water resources projects involving stormwater systems, drainage design, flood control, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling. You'll serve as both a technical expert and client liaison, delivering high-quality results while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead water resource engineering projects, including stormwater management, flood studies, and drainage system design.

• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and XP-SWMM.

• Manage client relationships and project timelines, budgets, and team coordination.

• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or master's in civil or environmental engineering.

• PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain).

• 8+ years of experience in water resources or stormwater engineering.

• Strong proficiency in modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, AutoCAD Civil 3D).

• Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and mentoring engineering staff.
