E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Weather Effects Instructor to join our team at Camp Lejeune, NC to support Intelligence and Security Services and Support (IS3). IS3 provides its strategic partners a full spectrum of services to support; intelligence and security training including exercise and deployment support, individual and collective training development and delivery, operations and security services including enterprise intelligence operations requiring multiple intelligence discipline expertise, engineering support to include technical insertion Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and prototype integration, life-cycle logistics for equipment readiness support to support soldiers and equipment, as well as ancillary IT products and services to increase the Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWF) readiness. 

Position Overview 

The Senior Weather Effects Instructor provides advanced Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) instruction and operational weather effects training in support of U.S. Marine Corps intelligence personnel at Camp Lejeune, NC. The instructor trains Marine Corps METOC Officers, Staff Weather Officers, METOC Analyst Forecasters, intelligence personnel, and other MAGTF staff members to analyze, integrate, and communicate the effects of weather, terrain, oceanographic conditions, and the operational environment on friendly and adversary capabilities. The position emphasizes the application of METOC intelligence to MAGTF planning, intelligence preparation, targeting, aviation, ground operations, amphibious operations, intelligence collection, and operational decision making.  

Job Responsibilities: 

• Minimum 10 years of relevant military, Intelligence Community, or DoD experience involving operational meteorology, oceanography, weather effects analysis, environmental intelligence, or METOC support to military operations. 
• Demonstrated experience providing METOC support to operational planning and translating environmental conditions into impacts on military operations, systems, platforms, sensors, weapons, ISR, mobility, or personnel. 
• Experience supporting MAGTF, Joint, Service component, Combatant Command, or comparable operational headquarters. 
• Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering operational intelligence, METOC, or command level briefings. 
• Knowledge of MAGTF operations and the integration of intelligence and METOC support into operational planning and decision making. 
• Experience developing or delivering formal military instruction, professional military education, operational training, or mission qualification training. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex technical information to operational planners, intelligence professionals, and senior leaders. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Minimum 10 years of relevant military, Intelligence Community, or DoD experience involving operational meteorology, oceanography, weather effects analysis, environmental intelligence, or METOC support to military operations. 
• Demonstrated experience providing METOC support to operational planning and translating environmental conditions into impacts on military operations, systems, platforms, sensors, weapons, ISR, mobility, or personnel. 
• Experience supporting MAGTF, Joint, Service component, Combatant Command, or comparable operational headquarters. 
• Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering operational intelligence, METOC, or command level briefings. 
• Knowledge of MAGTF operations and the integration of intelligence and METOC support into operational planning and decision making. 
• Experience developing or delivering formal military instruction, professional military education, operational training, or mission qualification training. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex technical information to operational planners, intelligence professionals, and senior leaders.  
• Currently possess a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security clearance at the appropriate level. 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Former or current USMC 6802 METOC Officer, particularly an individual who has served as a MEF Staff Weather Officer, MAGTF METOC Officer, or equivalent senior operational METOC billet. 
• Senior USMC METOC Analyst Forecaster with substantial MAGTF planning and instructional experience. 
• Experience supporting II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF), Marine Forces Command, Marine Division, Marine Aircraft Wing, Intelligence Battalion, Marine Expeditionary Unit, or other MAGTF headquarters. 
• Graduate of the Advanced Weather Exploitation and Integration Course or equivalent advanced operational weather training. 
• Weapons and Tactics Instructor experience or completion of applicable Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One training. 
• Experience with MAGTF Intelligence training, Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace, targeting, collection management, ISR planning, or Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment. 
• Experience developing operational weather effects products, environmental intelligence assessments, decision support matrices, climatology studies, or METOC portions of operational plans and orders. 
• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Oceanography, Environmental Science, Intelligence Studies, or a closely related discipline. Relevant military METOC experience may be considered in lieu of a specific degree discipline.
