If you’re an experienced welder who takes pride in clean welds, tight tolerances, and working from engineered drawings, this role was built for you.

As a Welder / Fabricator, you’ll play a critical role in a heavy‑industry manufacturing environment, producing high‑quality weldments that support essential equipment and systems. Your craftsmanship, problem‑solving skills, and commitment to safety will help ensure products perform reliably in demanding real‑world applications.

This is a role for professionals who value quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Why This Role Is Different

  • You’ll work in a true heavy‑industry manufacturing environment

  • Your welds directly impact safety, performance, and customer satisfaction

  • You’ll use multiple welding processes—not repetitive task work

  • You’re trusted to read drawings, identify issues, and recommend improvements

  • You’ll be part of a team that values 5S, safety, and operational excellence

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Interpreting engineered drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and dimensions

  • Performing high‑quality welding on carbon steel and stainless steel

    • FCAW (Flux‑Cored Arc Welding)

    • GMAW / MIG welding

  • Following red‑line processes and recommending modifications or improvements

  • Troubleshooting welding equipment, machines, and consumables (liners, tips, nozzles, insulators)

  • Operating hand and power tools including grinders and chipping hammers

  • Accurately entering labor hours and production data into SAP

  • Collaborating with supervisors and teammates to meet production and quality goals

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, housekeeping, and safety audits

  • Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and on‑time delivery

Where You’ll Make an Impact

You’ll support day‑shift manufacturing operations, helping ensure fabricated components meet strict quality standards while contributing to efficient, safe, and reliable production.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of welding experience in an industrial or fabrication environment

  • Proven experience with:

    • FCAW

    • GMAW / MIG welding

    • Welding carbon steel and stainless steel

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Preferred:

  • TIG / GTAW welding experience

  • Fabrication experience

  • Code welding or ASME certification

  • Background in heavy‑industry manufacturing environments

What We Offer

Our Total Rewards Program goes far beyond base pay and includes:

  • $23–$28/hour, based on experience

  • Generous PTO and paid holidays

  • Retirement savings plan with company contribution

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (eligible day one)

  • Career progression and development plans

  • Paid parental leave

  • Tuition reimbursement

  • Wellness program

  • Employee discount program

  • Recognition and reward programs

If you’re looking for more than just another welding job—and want stable hours, meaningful work, and long‑term growth—we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help build the high‑quality components that support critical operations every day.

Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
