Job Description (JD)

A leading provider of secure connectivity and managed network services is seeking a Senior Wireless Core Engineer with deep expertise in 4G/5G core, CNFs, and telecom networking. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and optimizing mission‑critical cellular core systems in cloud‑native environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement 4G/5G NSA/SA core components
• Develop and optimize CNFs for telecom workloads
• Work with telecom protocols: SCTP, GTP, Diameter, IPSEC, BGP
• Lead IMS, EPC, and converged core architecture initiatives
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes‑based telecom environments
• Troubleshoot high‑performance, low‑latency packet‑core systems
• Collaborate with product, cloud, and SRE teams
• Mentor junior telecom engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years in 3GPP core engineering
• Strong experience with CNFs, Kubernetes, Helm
• Deep understanding of telecom protocols
• Experience with vendors like Ericsson, Mavenir, Druid, Nokia, etc.
• Strong Linux networking background
• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS or equivalent
