This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program.\n\nThis candidate will join the Sentinel Payload Team (PLT) Aerospace Vehicle (AVE) and contribute to the electrical test team and subcontract management Team. This role will support PLT with electrical system design, cross-segment integration, test planning, test reporting, logistics, verification activities, and analyses for systems and subsystems. The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate foundational electrical engineering knowledge with verbal and written communication skills are required.\n\nWhat you will get to do:\n\n * Create, tailor, and coordinate testing and procedures to evaluate design including examination and / or demonstration\n * Design and plan for testing of hardware for their space environment\n * Adjudicate requirement conflicts with internal team and customer\n * Support tasks at various locations\n * Create contract documentation for delivery to the customer\n * Champion technical items through various program boards\n * Organize and prioritize job assignments and tasks\n * Operate independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * T02 Electrical Engineer: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters\n * T03 Principal Electrical Engineer: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for either T02 or T03:\n\n * Electrical Engineer STEM degree from an accredited institution\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.\n * 1+ year experience testing of cable/harness designs for military, Northrop Grumman, and or aviation standards\n * Prior experience using electrical measurement and test equipment in a laboratory or field setting\n * Prior experience planning and supporting RF (Radio Frequency) testing/measurements\n * Prior experience performing electrical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (RCA), failure modes analysis (FMA), or similar engineering activities\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * An active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope\n * Active PAR\n * Past/Active employment with MMIII or Sentinel Weapon Systems\n * Experience contributing towards various phases of a program lifecycle\n * Working with Shock, Vibration, EMI and EMC environmental tests\n * Familiar with Python scripts used for testing and data analysis\n * 2+ years working experience with MBSE tools (ie DOORs and Cameo)\n * 1+ year working with CAD design tools (i.e. Siemens NX, Teamcenter, CATIA, Capital, etc.)\n * Electric cable and circuit board design and test experience\n * Prior test experience, authoring test plans and reports\n * Prior ICBM test experience\n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n * 401k \n * Educational Assistance \n * Life Insurance \n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n * Paid Time Off \n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80.
