Sentinel (GBSD) Principal / Sr. Principal Mechanical Engineer - 17550

Principal Mechanical Engineer: BS degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master's; or 1 year with a PhD Sr. Principal Mechanical Engineer: BS degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a PhD U.S. citizen An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet business need. Experience with Support Equipment hardware development for aircraft/aerospace programs; including requirements generation, conceptual/detail design, design reviews, and/or testing Experience with Support Equipment requirements analysis, trade studies, SERD generation, design solutions, acquisition, test, and validation Must be an expert with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word Master's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or related field with 5-9 years of relatable work experience Experience with Teamcenter Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, power, hand and measuring tools Aerospace / ICBM maintenance experience Knowledge in design of electrical subsystems Knowledge in the development of SE design solutions ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GDT
