This position will be located in Roy, UT.\n\nWhat You Will Get To Do:\n\nProgram Manager responsibilities include managing cost and schedule of all G\u0026C requirements development related work packages, working with specialty teams on needed analysis and handoffs as they relate to requirements development. Additionally, the lead will work with contract management teams on specification updates for suppliers.\n\nThis role is dual-hat in nature and the selected candidate will additionally manage a section of 8-12 Guidance, Navigation, and Control Systems Engineers reporting to the Guidance, Navigation, and Control Department on a 20% time allocation. Key functional management responsibilities include: personnel performance management, process familiarization, and training for Section members, as well as staffing of roles on projects.\n\nThe successful applicant will:\n\n\u2022 Lead a team of systems engineers, leveraging their experience in one or more of the following specific skills: Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo), Requirements Management (DOORS), Verification Planning, Interface definition, and planning.\n\n\u2022 Manage cost and schedule aspects of PSE deliveries, leveraging experience in Earned Value Management\n\n\u2022 Able to set and promote high standards for engineering development\n\n\u2022 Foster a working environment which reinforces and drives accountability to fundamental Northrop Grumman Values focused on integrity, quality, shared success, and innovation.\n\nPosition Benefits:\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including\n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage\n\n * Educational Assistance\n\n * Life Insurance\n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions\n\n * Paid Time Off\n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources\n\n * Employee Discounts\n\n\n\n\nThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nYou\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and a minimum 8 years of related experience or Master\u2019s degree in STEM with 6 years of related experience\n\n\u2022 Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n\u2022 Experience in Program Execution, Staffing, Engineering Metrics and Training resources, Processes, and Tools.\n\n\u2022 Product Lifecycle Management tools\n\n\u2022 Earned Value Certification\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n\u2022 Master\u0027s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline\n\n\u2022 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule\n\n\u2022 Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance\n\n\u2022 Experience in People and Technical Leadership roles\n\n\u2022 2 years of experience with program control (IMS, EVMS), budgeting, and staffing\n\n\u2022 Experience managing suppliers\n\n\u2022 Experience with all phases of the systems engineering development life cycle, specifically requirements validation and verification\n\n\u2022 Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and DOORS or Cameo tools\n\n\u2022 Experience with Risk Management and/or Cost-Risk-Benefit Analysis\n\n\u2022 Experience with working with government/military personnel at government/military facilities\n\n\u2022 Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
