This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\nThis position requires a highly motivated self-starter with knowledge in the fabrication, assembly, system integration, and testing of hardware. The candidate will be involved in authoring \u0026 creating Product Release Documents (PRD), Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Work Instructions, PPP \u0026 BTP packages. Work with and coordinate with Global Supply Chain to move installation packages and related engineering documents through process flow to drive material procurement. Assist in peer reviews of design releases to ensure first time quality. Interface with cross functional internal \u0026 external teams and stakeholders critical to system deployment and installation. Oversee and drive progress using metrics and lessons learned. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nJob Qualifications: \n\nYou\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications:\n\nManufacturing Engineer: Bachelor\u0027s Degree with 2 years of relevant work experience; Master\u0027s Degree with 0 years of relevant work experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.\n\n * Must have 2 years working experience in a digital manufacturing environment using core systems\n\n\n\n\nPrincipal Manufacturing Engineer: Bachelor\u0027s Degree with 5 years of relevant work experience; Master\u0027s Degree with 3 years of relevant work experience; or PhD with 0 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.\n\n * Must have 3 years working experience in a digital manufacturing environment using core systems\n\n\n\n\nRequired for Both Levels:\n\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.\n\n * Previous experience working manufacturing engineering on EMD/LRIP/Production Programs\n\n\n\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s and/or Master\u2019s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or in a manufacturing engineering related field\n\n * Previous experience in production for a military program\n\n * Previous experience on EMD projects\n\n * Prior experience with Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM)\n\n * Experience working Designs into preproduction \u0026 production\n\n * Experience with Siemens NX tools, Model based engineering, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)\n\n * Demonstrated experience using SAP, Windows software packages and other electronic databases\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
