Sentinel Mechanical Design Engineer / Principal Mechanical Design Engineer- 17962*

Mechanical Engineer (level 2): Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field with 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 0 years of experience Principal Mechanical Engineer (level 3): Bachelor's degree in in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field with 5 years or relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; PhD with 1 year of relevant experience US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years U.S. Citizen Active or current Secret clearance at time of application Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP) Experience performing CAD modeling with design tools such as Siemens NX or similar Experience performing mechanical design efforts on MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace and Defense programs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word Ability to understand and interpret requirements Ability to work independently, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible to changing direction Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts Exposure to missiles program requirements & with propulsion Proficient with 3D design/2D drawing CAD in NX Proficient with PDM and/or CPLM Proficient with GD&T and ASME Y14.5-2009
