This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\nAs a Post Flight Data Processing Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing deploying a user interface and database solution for acquiring and processing flight test data and supporting the implementation of a program wide test data handling solution. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nThis requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T03) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level (T04).\n\n\u2022 Principal Software Engineer (T03): 5 Years with Bachelor\u2019s in related field of study, 3 Years with Masters, 1 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.\n\n\u2022 Sr. Principal Software Engineer (T04): 8 Years with Bachelor\u2019s in related field of study, 6 Years with Masters, 4 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.\n\nRequirements for both levels:\n\n\u2022 Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance\n\n\u2022 Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n\u2022 Experience with developing web architecture\n\n\u2022 2 years of experience with one or more of the following: PostgreSQL/SQL, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, HTML, Sass/CSS, Python\n\n\u2022 2 years of experience in application of software test planning and software test execution\n\n\u2022 Advanced use of standard Microsoft Office products to include development tools\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Active Top Secret Clearance\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) degree.\n\n\u2022 Experience deploying software on a classified system\n\n\u2022 Technical experience with IRIG 106 Chapter 10, Pulse Code Modulation, or Telemetry Description Documentation\n\n\u2022 Experience in deployment of deployed software with lab equipment\n\n\u2022 Experience with version control management software similar to Git\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability working with cross-functional teams and customers\n\n\u2022 Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated expertise soliciting input from internal and external stakeholders, synthesizing data, and communicating complex results to technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels\n\n#Sentinelsoftware\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
