This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.\n\n## \n\n## What You\u0027ll Get To Do\n\n * Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management\n\n * Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management\n\n * Integration of IP based devices into networks architecture. Will also support configuration, troubleshooting of devices / network\n\n * Work within and across teams to support and coordinate daily integration activities\n\n * Execute root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues\n\n * Coordinate integrated testing activities.\n\n * Oversee test activities in support or requirement verification and validation.\n\n\n\n\n## Basic Qualifications\n\nThis requisition may be filled at either the Systems Test Engineer level (T-02) or Principal Systems Test Engineer level (T-03).\n\n## Systems Test Engineer:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree and 2 years of Engineering experience, Masters with 0 years of experience; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\n\n * 1 year of hands on engineering or administration experience for Cisco/Juniper networks, RHEL and Windows OS\n\n * 1 year of experience with Windows AD, VMWare, or SAN storage systems\n\n * 1 year of experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment\n\n * 1 year of experience working with lab environments/processes (Foreign Object Elimination, Electro-Static Discharge, Configuration Management)\n\n\n\n\n## Principal Systems Test Engineer:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree and 5 years of Engineering experience; Masters with 3 years experience, PHD with 1 year experience; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\n\n * 3 years of hands on engineering or administration experience for Cisco/Juniper networks, RHEL and Windows OS\n\n * 3 years of experience with Windows AD, VMWare, or SAN storage systems\n\n * 3 years of experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment\n\n * 3 years of experience working with lab environments/processes (Foreign Object Elimination, Electro-Static Discharge, Configuration Management)\n\n\n\n\n## Required for Both Levels:\n\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n * Current DoD 8570\u201d IAT Level II Certification (such as CompTIA Security+ CE)\n\n * Understanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs\n\n\n\n\n## These Qualifications Would Be a Nice to Have:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.\n\n * Experience with VMWare NSX-T, Tanzu, Kubernetes.\n\n * Experience with the creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment\n\n * Experience with Atlassian tool suite (such as Jira and/or Confluence)\n\n * Experience with Certification \u0026 Accreditation process and patch management\n\n * Current Top Secret clearance\n\n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n * 401k \n\n * Educational Assistance \n\n * Life Insurance \n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n * Paid Time Off \n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\n\n#Sentinelintandtest\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
