This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Program.\n\nWhat you will get to do:\n\nDesigns, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nBasic Qualifications \n\nT2 Software Engineer: 2 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 0 Years with Masters or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.\u2022\n\nT3 Principal Software Engineer : 5 Years with Bachelor\u2019s in related field of study, 3 Years with Masters,1 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.\n\nRequired for both levels: \n\n\u2022 US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.\n\n\u2022 Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).\n\n\u2022 Ability to plan, execute, and manage the technical scope, and support leadership planning.\n\n\u2022 Experience with Agile and working in a cross-function Scrum team.\n\n\u2022 Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles\n\n\u2022 Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts\n\n\u2022 Experience developing web-based applications on a cloud-based platform.\n\n\u2022 Experience deploying containerized applications in a Kubernetes framework.\n\n\u2022 Experienced developing with Javascript, Typescript and React,\n\n\u2022 Adept at working across the full stack, contributing to frontend UI/UX, backend APIs, and database design.\n\n\u2022 Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.\n\n\u2022 Proficiency in front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Express. \n\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)\n\n\u2022 Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence\n\n\u2022 Proficient with DOORS, Cameo with the ability to write and decompose system requirements\n\n\u2022 Ability to evaluate risks and tradeoffs and present solution options to management\n\n\u2022 Understanding of OSI Open Systems Interconnection model and the impact of each level to the design of a network architecture.\n\n\u2022 Experience developing web-based applications on a cloud-based platform.\n\n\u2022 Experience deploying containerized applications in a Kubernetes framework.\n\n\u2022 Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering to model software functions using Cameo.\n\n\u2022 Experience using Unified Modeling Language to document software design using Cameo.\n\n\u2022 Knowledge of NIST and ISO standards.\n\n\u2022 Experience with other languages like C++, C#, and Python is a plus.\n\n#Sentinelsoftware\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
