This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force\u2019s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\n\n * Support MA functions to ensure mission success through technical reviews of all program drawings, contract, and requirements documents as required.\n\n * Technical reviews of all GBSD drawings, SOW\u2019s, Requirements documents as required.\n\n * Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of GBSD achievements.\n\n * Assesses GBSD performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.\n\n * Assist the Program Quality Managers (PQM) with all GBSD Mission Assurance /Program Management requirements.\n\n * Develop, implement and maintain the GBSD Program Quality Plans.\n\n * Assign program tasks to the functional area PQE\u2019s.\n\n * Lead and facilitate GBSD program FRBs ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions and reach back and reach across.\n\n * Assist PQM in preparation and execution on of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB).\n\n * Develop and maintain GBSD Program Metrics.\n\n * Assist in the preparation of the Program Management Program Review packages.\n\n * Support PQM with GBSD Customer Corrective Action Requests.\n\n * Support IPT MA \u0026 QE in Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow down.\n\n * Monitor timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and work corrective actions with IPT MA \u0026 QEs.\n\n * Support Engineering Review Boards with technical approvals.\n\n * Acceptance of functional and integrated test events.\n\n * Ensure quality requirements are met during construction activities.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor of Science degree with 8 years of Mission/Quality experience; a Master\u2019s Degree with 6 years\u2019 experience; or a PhD Degree and 4 years\u2019 experience\n * Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance\n * Requires experience with ICBM systems\n * Requires experience in developing and implementing Mission Assurance or Quality Assurance plans\n * Requires experience with quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and improvement\n * Requires experience with manufacturing and test labs quality assurance processes\n * Requires experience with root cause corrective actions and MRB\n * Requires experience with peer reviews and review boards\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Current/Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SAP access\n * Knowledge of construction quality or quality during construction operations\n * Experience with developmental and operational testing\n * Experience with Mission Assurance Engineering and Quality Engineering practices\n * Experience in Missile Systems/Sub-Systems design, construction, and sustainment\n * Experience in process monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metric reporting for overall program and segments\n * Current USACE Construction Quality Control Manager (QCM) certification\n * 3+ years experience in construction quality in a field environment\n * 3+ years quality experience within manufacturing and engineering environments\n * 3+ years experience conducting peer reviews\n * 3+ years Experience as a review board member\n\n\n\nPosition Benefits\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:\n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage\n\n * 401k\n\n * Educational Assistance\n\n * Life Insurance\n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions\n\n * Paid Time Off\n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources\n\n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
