The Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a User Experience Architect to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability. The selected candidate will be a member of the UX team supporting the Digital Ecosystem Digital Thread. They will interact/communicate with the element and product level teams in the technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability/effectiveness analyses for total systems. Human Factors analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, and test. Lead a small UX team to develop Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) in support of the Digital Ecosystem's Digital Thread Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting UX design artifacts Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical) Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis Develop a digital ecosystem for the government customer Educational background in psychology, human factors, user experience, graphic design, industrial design, or HCI-related field from an accredited university, and 12 Years with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD. Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need Demonstrated experience utilizing UI/UX design principles Experience in fast-paced work environment and ability to work in a team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to segment, program and customer community Large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities Experience with visual design of computer user interfaces Experience with Human Factors in a defense contracting environment (familiarity with Mil-Std-1472G and ANSI/HFES 100-2007), DoD UI/UX Design Experience Experience on an Agile Software Development Team
