This position may be located in Colorado Springs, CO, Roy, UT, Huntsville, AL, or Manhattan Beach, CA and will support the Sentinel program.\n\nNorthrop Grumman supports the Air Force\u2019s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.\n\nWhat you will get to do:\n\nThe Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Systems Engineer to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification \u0026 validation, and requirements traceability. \n\nSpecific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: \n\n * Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts\n * Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design\n * Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model\n * Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)\n * Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis\n * Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 12 years of experience with Bachelor\u0027s degree, 10 years of experience with Master\u0027s degree, 8 years of experience with PhD \n * Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years \n * Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs\n * 1+ years of experience managing requirements in DOORS\n * 3+ years of experience working with Systems Engineering and Integration and Test (SEIT) processes \n * 3+ years of experience working with MBSE tools (Cameo)\n * 1+ year of experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA/Confluence)\n * 1+ years of experience supporting trades studies\n * 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active DoD Top Secret Clearance\n * Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model\n * Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages\n * Proficiency with the DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks\n * Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture, MagicDraw (No Magic, Inc.) or other architecture modeling tools\n * Experience using tools to model large systems with multiple developers\n * Experience in Software and/or Hardware design\n * Experience in documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description Documents\n * Experience in the military aerospace development environment \n * Experience with weapon systems\n * Experience exporting documentation out of a model-based environment\n * Experience with Agile Development\n * Experience with ICBM weapon system sustainment engineering and integration\n * Experience with complex system development on large programs\n\n\n\nPosition Benefits\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n * 401k \n\n * Educational Assistance \n\n * Life Insurance \n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n * Paid Time Off \n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.northropgrumman.com/who-we-are/total-rewards-benefits/\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\n#Sentinelsystems\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $161,000.00 - $241,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
