This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. \n\nDesign, develop, document, test, and debug software/system applications. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of embedded systems for safety and mission critical software. Must be able to work and collaborate with a team of software engineers in an Agile environment to meet critical milestones. Ensure program mandated software standards and compliance criteria are met. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n\u202212 Years with Bachelor\u2019s in relevant field of study, 10 Years with Masters, 07 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.\n\n\u2022 Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.\n\n\u2022 Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n\u202210+ Years software development experience using C/C++.\n\n\u202210+ Years of experience with Agile, Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket and working in cross-functional Scrum team.\n\n\u202210+ Years of experience leading Software Engineering teams with the ability to team plan, execute, and manage the technical scope, and support leadership planning.\n\n\u202210+ Years of experience with software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 10 Years of experience with MBSE, software design \u0026 requirement management.\n\n\u2022 15 Years of experience in directing software/system architecture decisions and developing command and control software.\n\n\u2022 15 Years of experience developing with a real-time operating system.\n\n#Sentinelsoftware\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
