Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nThe Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Systems Engineer to join the Flight Test Design Review Campaign team. The successful candidate will support the planning, tracking, and execution of Flight Test Design Reviews. The candidate will join a broader program team working to ensure Sentinel program readiness for and the execution of the Flight Test Campaign. This position will be located in Roy, UT.\n\nSpecific Duties Include:\n\n * Perform technical planning, support design reviews, develop tools to communicate and track action items internally and with our customer.\n * Collaborate with program IPT counterparts supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.\n * Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature content both internally and externally.\n * Conduct pre-review assessments to ensure readiness prior to formal design reviews.\n * Brief program leadership, customers, and stakeholders at both program and technical reviews.\n * Develop and maintain strong relationships across program, customers, and stakeholder communities.\n * Engage in formal and informal mentoring to support knowledge transfer and talent development.\n * Participate in technical trade studies as needed.\n * Recognize and capture risks and opportunities.\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 12 years of relevant experience, 10 years with a Master\u0027s Degree and 8 Years with a PhD.\n * Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.\n * 8+ years experience in Systems Engineering\n * 5+ years of experience executing Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) on large scale complex systems\n * 5+ years experience analyzing large complex systems\n * 5+ years experience in requirements management\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * ICBM experience\n * Flight test experience on missile systems\n * Experience with the Systems Engineering V-model\n * Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS\n * Experience with model based systems engineering (MBSE)\n * Experience with hardware and/or software design \n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n * 401k \n * Educational Assistance \n * Life Insurance \n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n * Paid Time Off \n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\n\n#Sentinelsystems\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
